About Me

My photo
Pam Scoggan
I am a very proud Grandma, Wife and Mother. I am truly blessed. I give thanks everyday and try to not take life for granted. I am a twin and my sis and I have a lot of fun when we get together. I have a pension for recreating, refurbishing ,recycling, vintage items, antiques and oddities..."Why be normal?" is my favorite saying. I hope to include some items in the future to share with my fellow bloggers.

My Journey

As a lover of all things old and beautiful I like to think that we all have a connection to the past and to the future. I have been a collector for over 40 years. My treasure hunts have changed some - but not totally through the years. I am very interested in Geneology though I have not been real active in research I love and respect the work my family members have done.
11-13-15 Recently I have been pretty active in Geneology research. I am a Ancestry member. It has been a valuable source of information. I also have made contacts with some of my distant relation that have shared much with me. My Mom was a descendant of the Schwindamann clan with roots in Marysville, Kansas , LaSalle, Illinois and Germany. My Fathers side is Grotz from Luxembourg,Germany, spent some time in Illinois and Beloit, Kansas.
