This Quilt was made by my Daughter for me. The embroidery reads "Over the River and through the Woods to Grandmothers House We Go" I am so touched by this gorgeous gift.

We visited Deadwood several years ago and visited the #10 Saloon where Wild Bill was shot and killed. They did a reenactment.

Grandparents and youngsters
Fraternal Great Grandparents Ed and Amy Grotz with children John and Lila. Beloit Kansas. John married Margie Broadbent Grotzand lived their married life in California. Lila married George Knaup and lived in Osborne, Kansas until her death. Also born to this union was Vera,Howard, Frank (My Dad), Noel, and Ed (Jr) Vera and Howard died as infants at birth or shortly thereafter.

Here is a picture of my Grandmother Amy Britton Grotz. Originally from Waverly Kansas I believe and spent the rest of her life in Beloit, Ks. She was married to Ed Grotz Sr and the mother of John, Lila (Knaup), Frank, Noel and Ed jr.
